Next Coffs Drupal Meetup: When and Where?
Thanks to everybody who attended the last meetup. It was better attended than I expected. It's surprising how little you can do in an hour or two, so I'm already looking forward to the next one.
The place, date and time for the next one is totally open for discussion, so please feel free to make your suggestions in the comments below. To get the ball rolling, I'll suggest 5:30pm Tuesday, 2nd December at our office again.
Obviously our office in Sawtell is convenient for me, being attached to my house, and for Ruben, who lives around the corner, but I'm more than happy to commute to give others a break. We've also been searching for a long time for a hospitable (i.e. cheap/free) centrally-located conference/training facility, cafe, pub, restaurant, or whatever with Internet access, so any suggestions welcome.
I think slightly more than once a month is a good schedule, as experience with the Ex-Ex Services Computer Club has taught me that twice a month can be a bit onerous, but on the other hand a strict monthly schedule can mean a long wait if you happen to miss one.
The only thing I can say for certain about the next meetup is that since a few people seemed interested in the topic, I will be happy to give a quick demo on Drupal theming, so if that's something you're interested in, you should make your place and time preferences known to ensure you don't miss it.
